One of the oldest and reputed Universities in the USA, the University of Pennsylvania, has added Thirukkural English Couplet as one of the books for research in the University by research scholars in 2021 itself. Now in India St. Xavier's College , Palayamkottai, a Jesuit Institution has included selected Chapters of this book as a syllabus in their Tamil Department from the Year 2024-2025 and it is also informed that the Department of English would be adding the selected chapters of the book from the academic Year 2025-26.
